SANAA, Feb. 4 (Xinhua) -- Two people were killed Sunday when the Saudi-led coalition warplanes hit a forensic laboratory in Yemen's capital Sanaa, residents and a Xinhua photographer at the scene witnessed.
Twenty others were wounded in the two airstrikes on the forensic laboratory building in the northern part of rebels-held Sanaa, the photographer said.
Residents said that many civilians were among the casualties. Houthi officials who control the laboratory declined to comment.
The attack was the latest in a series of airstrikes conducted by the U.S.-backed coalition air force since the start of the war in Yemen three years ago.
On Jan. 22, a Saudi-led airstrike killed a family of seven in the Yemeni northern province of Saada, according to provincial security officials.
The Saudi-led coalition has intervened in the Yemeni conflict since March 2015 in an attempt to roll back the Houthi militants and support the internationally-recognized President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi, who was forced into exile by the Houthis.
The war has killed over 10,000 Yemenis, mostly children, and displaced 3 million others, creating one of the world's worst humanitarian crises.
SEOUL, Feb. 4 (Xinhua) -- The top legislator of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) will lead its high-ranking delegation to South Korea to attend the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, Seoul's unification ministry said Sunday.
The DPRK sent a notice through the restored hotline of direct dialogue in the truce village of Panmunjom Sunday night, saying the DPRK's high-ranking delegation, led by Kim Yong-nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, will visit South Korea from Feb. 9-11.
The DPRK delegation will include three delegates and 18 supporting officials. Who will be the three delegates was not yet known.
During the inter-Korean talks in January, the DPRK agreed to send its athletes and cheerleaders as well as a ranking delegation to the 23rd Winter Olympics scheduled to kick off on Feb. 9 at South Korea's east county of PyeongChang.
U.S. Vice President Mike Pence will lead a U.S. delegation to the PyeongChang Winter Olympics to attend the opening ceremony of the South Korea-hosted winter sports event.
During the telephone talks in January, South Korean President Moon Jae-in and U.S. President Donald Trump saw a possibility for the inter-Korean dialogue naturally leading to a dialogue between the DPRK and the United States for the denuclearized Korean Peninsula.
The possibility cannot be ruled out for Pence to meet with the DPRK's top legislator during the Winter Olympics.

SRINAGAR， Indian-controlled Kashmir， Oct. 27 (Xinhua) -- An Indian military trooper was killed and another wounded Thursday in a gunfight on Line of Control (LoC)， dividing Kashmir， officials said.
The gunfight， according to the Indian military， broke out in Tanghdar sector of frontier Kupwara district， about 152 km northwest of Srinagar city， the summer capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir.
""Today troops intercepted a group of infiltrators attempting to infiltrate inside our territory，"" a defense official said. ""The infiltrators fired upon the troops which was retaliated. However， in the ensuing gunfight a trooper was killed and another wounded.""
Reports said reinforcements have been rushed to the spot to trace infiltrators and searches were going on in the area.
LoC is a de facto border that divides Kashmir into India- and Pakistan-controlled parts.
A guerrilla war is going on between militants and Indian troops stationed in Indian-controlled Kashmir since 1989. The gunfight between the two sides takes place intermittently across the region.
New Delhi blames Islamabad for infiltrating militants into Indian-controlled Kashmir. However， Islamabad denies the charge saying it only provides moral and political support to Kashmiris.
Kashmir， the Himalayan region divided between India and Pakistan is claimed by both in full. Since their Independence from Britain， the two countries have fought three wars， two exclusively over Kashmir.
