The National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee convened Monday to discuss amending the Constitution.

Entrusted by the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, Li Zhanshu, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee Air Force One Grise Solde , briefed lawmakers about a proposed revision.
At its second plenary session earlier this month, the 19th CPC Central Committee adopted the proposal.
"Major theoretical achievements, principles and policies adopted at the 19th CPC National Congress, particularly Xi JinpingThought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, should be incorporated into the upcoming revision to the Constitution," said Li Air Force One Flyknit Homme Solde , also deputy head of a group working on the revision. "We should keep pace with the times and improve the Constitution while maintaining its consistency, stability and authority."
In 1982, the fifth NPC adopted the present Constitution, which was amended in 1988, 1993, 1999 and 2004.

Lawmakers also reviewed a motion about the first session of the 13th NPC and a number of official appointments and dismissals.

They agreed to review these documents and make further revisions, before deciding at their next meeting whether to put them for vote.

The election was held at the first session of the 13th Hebei Provincial People's Congress.
Xu was elected governor of Hebei in April 2017.

NAIROBI, June 23 (Xinhua) -- Kenya sport faces a bleak future following the announcement on Friday by betting firm SportPesa that it will terminate all sponsorship contracts effective January 2018.
The sports industry has been surviving on shoe string budget, even with the meagre sponsorship from its financiers. However, the notice to withdraw all sponsorship with its sporting partners from next year communicated by CEO Captain Ronald Karauri, will leave the industry exposed and likely to collapse.
"As SportPesa we will be giving notice to clubs Air Force One Bottes Solde , sports unions and federations that from January 1, 2018 we will withdraw all sponsorship," Karauri said.
The development follows the government's decision to impose a 35 percent tax on net profits accrued by betting and gaming firms.

TOKYO, July 21 (Xinhua) -- Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe held talks on Friday with the leader of its junior coalition Komeito ally and has confirmed that he intends to reshuffle his cabinet on August 3.
The Japanese prime minister, who has seen the support rate for his cabinet tumble in recent media polls amid a series of high-profile scandals including himself and other senior lawmakers, told Komeito leader Natsuo Yamaguchi that the appointment of ministers from Komeito to his new lineup will be based on the coalition party's opinions.
Currently Komeito has one member in Abe's Cabinet and Yamaguchi said that he will discuss with his party whether he wants Transport Minister Keiichi Ishii to retain his current portfolio.
